Local information about Ruislip

Ruislip, in the West London borough of Hillingdon, is a pleasant outer-London town. The town has plenty to offer, with local attractions such as the Ruislip Lido and accompanying beach bringing in families from across London.

The residential streets outside of the town centre feature large, detached family homes, many of which featuring mock Tudor beams. Purpose-built flats and houses of varying size also contribute to the property landscape of the area.

South Ruislip, West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens all provide locals with Central Line service, so commuting to the city is straightforward. Ruislip and Ruislip Manor underground stations are both on the Uxbridge branch of the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines, too, providing further options for transport to the city.
