Kingston-upon-Thames is a borough in the South West corner of London, centred around a historic market town.

The town of Kingston-upon Thames sits upon the River Thames, and has been a settlement for centuries longer than many of its neighbouring areas, and was the first ‘Royal’ borough in London. Today, the town is home to both high street retailers, as well as an array of independent shops, many of which are quainter than those found in more central London districts. Richmond Park and Hampton Court Palace are popular destinations in the neighbouring borough of Richmond.

The charm of the town extends to its beautiful architecture, too, with Victorian cottages aplenty, as well as modern flat developments along the river.
