Local information about Stratford

Stratford is located in the east London borough Newham, in the West Ham area.

Stratford was recently awarded its own postcode district, E20, covering the Olympic Park and Stratford City. Redevelopment for the 2012 Olympics has made Stratford East London’s hub for retail, culture and leisure, with Westfield Stratford being the primary shopping hub.

There has also been development of new housing, including 150 High Street Stratford, a 41 storey residential tower. Alongside this, transport links have been improved with Stratford train station a major service hub for train lines, tube, DLR and buses.
